He decides to always be careful with his words so he doesn't wrinkle anyone's heart. Readers learn the importance of kindness, friendship and the Golden Rule.

This is an incredible book, with a valuable illustration that everyone should read. Our unkind words can be so destructive and hurtful. Teaching kindness at an early age really can make a difference. This book belongs in every kindergarten and elementary classroom!

Sweet, tender and original story with exquisite illustrations. This book somehow already seems like a childhood favorite, one of the books that you kept as you grew up and gave all your kids books away. An especially fine debut for Tracy Hoexter. I'll be watching for more.
